Greek-German cooperation across political, economic, scientific or cultural sectors benefits both countries, is important for Europe and offers opportunities for the future, the German embassy in Athens said on Tuesday following the cancellation of the 85th Thessaloniki International Fair, where Germany was to be this year’s honored country, ANA reports.
In an announcement titled “Greece and Germany: Strong partners in the crisis – Together in growth and innovation even without TIF,” the German embassy noted it respected the Greek government’s decision to cancel the annual international business expo for preventative reasons related to the coronavirus pandemic.
