The British government announced on Thursday 15/10 that it has added Crete to the list of safe destinations, a decision that means that those who arrived in Britain from the Greek island will no longer need to be quarantined, int.ert.gr reports.
At the same time, London has removed Italy from the list, and those arriving in the UK from there, have to be quarantined for 14 days.
In a post on Twitter, Transport Minister Grant Shapps pointed out that the measure will take effect on Sunday 18/10.
