Greek Alt FM and UK's Deputy FM discuss future of foreign nationals after Brexit

The cooperation of Greece and the United Kingdom in the post-Brexit era was the focus of an e-meeting between Alternate Foreign Affairs Minister Miltiadis Varvitsiotis and UK’s Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister Wendy Morton, held on Thursday, ANA 

Varvitsiotis referred to the Greek government’s measures to ensure the rights of British citizens residing in Greece, and he stressed the importance Greece attaches to ensuring the rights of Greek citizens residing in the United Kingdom.

Morton highlighted the significant contribution of Greek students studying in British universities, and on Twitter, she wrote: “Held productive discussions today with Greek Minister Varvitsiotis about the future partnership and our commitment to protecting the rights of UK & Greek nationals after the transition period.”
