The coronavirus pandemic has messed up all of our vacation plans – but the wanderlust and longing for vacation remain German site urlaubsguru.de reports.
A survey of more than 5000 users on Instagram shows: in 2021 most of the vacation guru readers definitely want to go on at least one big vacation again. Instead of many smaller trips, many are planning two or three larger trips. Also and maybe precisely because these longer trips were hardly possible due to Corona in 2020.
The greatest demand is for organized tours and holidays in nature. Sustainable accommodation, slow travel, and environmentally friendly activities like beach cleanups are more in demand than ever. Despite all the headlines about the pandemic, the participants in the Urlaubguru survey have not forgotten the relevance of environmental protection and sustainability.
According to the site, if you prefer to travel to other European countries next year, a holiday in Greece is totally in vogue. Both the wonderful Greek islands and the original Greek mainland invite you to a relaxing holiday between sightseeing and the beach next year with lots of hours of sunshine and lots of Greek hospitality.
