Cyprus’ Deputy Tourism Minister Savvas Perdios presented on Tuesday before the parliamentary Committee on Energy, Commerce, Industry, and Tourism the plans concerning Cyprus’ new tourist product, noting that there are no expectations for a tourist flow during the first months of 2021, CNA reports.
In a statement after the Committee’s meeting, Perdios pointed out that following a briefing of the Cabinet last week he also briefed the parliament about this year’s action plan of the Deputy Tourism Ministry, in the framework of the implementation of the National Tourism Strategy.
He recalled that this year’s plan comprises three pillars: advertising and marketing, upgrading of infrastructure focusing on specific forms of tourism, and improvement of the competitiveness of urban and mountain areas.
