A list of the best Greek islands for Danish travelers was published by ‘Vagabond’, the leading Scandinavian travel magazine put out by the top Danish travel agency of the same name, as part of a successful promotional campaign organized by the Greek National Tourism Organisation (GNTO) office for Scandinavia, ANA reports.
Naxos ranks first in the list, with Andros in second place, followed by Mykonos, Santorini, Koufonisia, Milos, and Ios, which is considered the promising new entry for the Scandinavian market.
The author of the feature notes that he is enchanted by the island, with its sandy dreamy beaches and crystal clear waters, which has appeared in international film productions.
The list is of great significance for Greek tourism in Denmark, a country whose national economy has shown impressive performance and great endurance, even in difficult times.
