Cyprus Deputy Minister of Tourism, Savvas Perdios, has said that tourism stakeholders both in Cyprus and abroad admit that tourism recovery, not only for this year but for the next years as well, will hugely depend on vaccinations, CNA reports.
In statements following the vaccination on Thursday of members of the Council of Ministers with the first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine, Perdios said that vaccination is very important in order to get back to normality.
He went on to note that there will be more immunity as more people get vaccinated and the country will increase its potential for more tourist arrivals.
