Minister of Finance Constantinos Petrides said that the best marketing for our tourism industry would be that 100% of the employees are vaccinated, noting that this would show that Cyprus is a safe country to travel CNA reports.
The Minister, who was speaking at the 43rd hotel conference and exhibition of the Cyprus Hotel Association, noted that this would be of great importance for the tourism industry “in our effort to show that Cyprus is not just a hospitable country because it offers nice gastronomy or nice sun or nice attractions,” adding that Cyprus is a hospitable country because at the period of the pandemic it also offers security.
