Tourism traffic from Saudi Arabia to Greece is expected to go up quite significantly this year, said Deputy Tourism Minister Sofia Zacharaki on Monday, ANA reports.
She was speaking at Riyadh, where a broad delegation of Greek ministers and industry executives, headed by Greek Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister for Economic Diplomacy & Openness Kostas Fragogiannis, is holding a series of meetings with state officials and corporate executives since Saturday.
Zacharaki also pointed out that while in Riyadh she met with “business people who wish to invest in Greece in the field of hospitality,” and with “tour operators and influencers who are looking for opportunities in Greece to advertise our destinations.”
