Revenue from tourism at €2.4 billion in Cyprus for Jan-Nov 2022

Revenue from tourism is estimated at €2,381.6 mn for the period of January – November 2022, compared to €1,459.6 mn in the corresponding period of 2021 and €382.9 mn during the same period of 2020, according to the results of the Passenger Survey carried out by the Statistical Service, published on Tuesday, CNA reports.

The Statistical Service also noted that in November 2022 revenue from tourism reached €96.4 mn, compared to €104.2 mn in November 2021, recording a decrease of 7.5%.

Arrivals in November reached 149,857. The average length of stay for tourists was 9 days. The per capita expenditure amounted to €643.38, while the daily expenditure amounted to €71.49.
