Greek Foreign Affairs Minister Nikos Dendias met with his counterpart of Argentina, Santiago Andr?s Cafiero, in Buenos Aires on Wednesday, the first-ever visit of a Greek foreign affairs minister to the Latin American country, ANA reports.
In a tweet, Dendias said that they focused “on enhancing bilateral political relations and cooperation in trade, investments and also within International Organisations, EU-Argentina relations, the Our Ocean Conference 2024 that will be hosted in Greece, and regional and international developments.”
While in Buenos Aires, Dendias announced a donation on behalf of the Greek government to the municipality of Berisso, speaking of “a city which is characterized by multiculturalism and has the oldest Greek Community in South America,” he tweeted.
