Greece’s Development & Investments Minister Adonis Georgiadis met with Israel’s visiting Minister of Innovation, Science & Technology Ofir Akunis on Friday, ANA reports.
The Greek minister announced that they discussed the two countries ongoing cooperation in start-ups, research facilities, and in the context of the Thessaloniki Innovation & Technology Center (Thess INTEC).
Through more meetings and potentially more funding, noted Deputy Minister of Development & Investments Christos Dimas after the meeting, start-ups, scientists, and entrepreneurs in Greece and Israel can cooperate even more effectively in new technologies, agri-food, defense and security, energy, and cybersecurity.
