Environment and Energy Minister Theodoros Skylakakis met with China’s Deputy Minister for Natural Resources Sun Shuxian, as announced on Monday, ANA reports.
The meeting, according to the ministry’s announcement, is part of the bilateral contacts Skylakakis has, on the occasion of the 9th “Our Ocean Conference” which will be held in Greece on 16-17 April, at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC).
At the meeting held at the Ministry of Environment and Energy, the two ministers exchanged views on the cooperation of the two countries in the field of maritime affairs which is implemented mainly through joint programs of Chinese oceanographic institutes with the National Centre for Marine Research and the Polytechnic University of Crete.
