Greek Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis on Friday called the newly appointed Foreign Minister of Serbia Marko Djuric on the phone and congratulated him on the assumption of his duties while reiterating Greece’s firm support for Serbia’s EU perspective, ANA reports.
The two ministers reaffirmed the historically close and friendly ties between Greece and Serbia and discussed the celebrations for the 145th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations and current regional developments. They also agreed to meet at the earliest opportunity, the Foreign Ministry posted on X.
