Loveholidays has increased its Atol license by almost one million passengers, a 25% increase, allowing it to carry over five million travelers in 2025.
This increase consolidates its position as the largest online travel agent (OTA) in the United Kingdom, following a record revenue in 2024, which amounted to 2.9 billion pounds. 2025 started even more dynamically, with sales of 814 million pounds in the first quarter (November 2024 – January 2025), recording a 36% increase year-on-year.
The new Atol license allows Loveholidays to serve 5,011,286 passengers, up from 4,014,688 in 2024 – a 265% increase from pre-pandemic levels in 2019.
According to the company’s CEO, Donat R?tif, the strong demand is due to Loveholidays’ attractive value proposition, as well as investments in technology and customer experience, with the company receiving excellent reviews on the Trustpilot platform.
- The top destinations for British travelers in 2025 include the Canary Islands, mainland Spain, and the Greek islands, while there is a significant increase in bookings to Romania (+821%), Albania (+527%), Thailand (+85%,) and Tunisia (+68%).
At the same time, the company is recording a 57% increase in bookings for short-haul city trips and a 43% increase in bookings for long-haul trips.
Loveholidays, which has been operating in the United Kingdom since 2012 and in Ireland since 2016, continues its dynamic course, while its expansion strategy focuses on establishing itself as a leading travel provider in Europe.
