The dynamic change in the demographics of visitors to Rhodes is highlighted by an analysis by Panadvert.
According to the data, the total demand for accommodation in Rhodes showed a decrease of 3.54% in 2024 compared to the previous year. This results from the analysis of over 1.6 million searches on Google and demand data from 1,133 hotels on the island.
The data, however, reveals a significant rearrangement of the main international markets, with a significant weakening of interest from some of Rhodes’ traditional key markets.
Specifically:
The United Kingdom showed a decrease of 7.57%,
Germany and Greece showed a decrease of 5.18% and 9.67% respectively.
The Irish market is showing a remarkable 32.4% increase in demand for accommodation in Rhodes in 2024, signaling a promising new source of tourism for the island.
In addition, interest from Israel increased by 14.4% over the same period.
The study also highlighted the top hospitality “players” in Rhodes for 2024. First on the list is Rodos Palace Hotel, which dominated throughout the year, with an impressive peak in the summer months, followed by Princess Andriana Resort & Spa – Ultra All-Inclusive and Mitsis Selection Alila.
The overall list was as follows:
1. Rodos Palace Hotel
2. Princess Andriana Resort & Spa – Ultra All-Inclusive
3. Mitsis Selection Alila
4. Mitsis Rodos Maris
5. Mitsis Rodos Village
6. Lindos Imperial Resort & Spa
7. Olympic Palace Hotel

Finally, one of the most important findings of the analysis is the excellent performance of the staff in Rhodes’ hospitality.
