Journalists from Sweden explore the authentic Santorini

Another action for the enhanced promotion of Santorini in international markets was implemented by the Greek National Tourist Organization at the end of June.

Specifically, from June 26 to 30, two journalists from Sweden traveled to the island, as part of a press trip organized by the Greek National Tourist Organization Scandinavia Service in collaboration with the Municipality of Thira.

The trip was attended by the publisher of the luxury tourism magazine First Class Magazine, Eva Suzanne Nilsson, and the highly popular journalist and travel blogger (mittgrekland.se), Markus Olsson.

During their stay in Santorini, the two journalists had the opportunity to get to know the authentic character of the island, as the program included visits to archaeological sites and museums, guided tours of local wineries, tastings at agrotourism units and gastronomic experiences in selected restaurants with views of the caldera and the traditional residential fabric of the island.

The action is also part of the broader framework of promotion, visibility and extroversion of Greece in the Swedish market, highlighting particular aspects of the Greek tourist product, such as gastronomy and culture.
