The Greek National Tourism Organization approved the implementation of a familiarization trip organized by the German Foreign Service to Thassos from September 10 to 16, with the participation of journalists Mr. Karl-Heinz Helmut Goedeckemeyer and Werner Menzel.

Furthermore, the GNTO approved the implementation of a familiarization trip organized by the Cyprus Foreign Service to Lesvos during the period from 1 to 5 October, with the participation of two Cypriot journalists, Ms. Andria Georgiou and Mr. Konstantinos Hambalis.
Ms. Georgiou, from the DIAS group, editor-in-chief of the newspaper “City Free Press”, is going to write one or two articles. Mr. Hambalis is a journalist, media editor and TikToker.. The content of his videos has accumulated a total of over 345,000 views. He is particularly well-known to the Cypriot public and is going to share his experience from this action through short daily posts on his personal accounts, almost in real time. It is noted that this is the first TikToker participation in a trip organized by the GNTO Cyprus Foreign Service.
The aim is to promote Religious Tourism, Spa Wellness Tourism, Gastronomy, Wine Tourism, as well as the Sun and Sea thematic product, in the areas of Lesvos. According to the program, the places to visit include the city of Mytilene, important museums of Lesvos, Mithymna, the Petrified Forest and its museum, the Polichnitos Thermal Springs and Plomari with the Ouzo Museum. The action is carried out in collaboration with the North Aegean Region.
In addition, the Greek National Tourism Organization will participate in a special event to present the new products of the Canadian airline Air Canada and Air Canada Vacations, in Toronto, Canada, which is scheduled for September 18.
