Significantly lower prices for early bird holiday package bookings for summer 2026 in popular Mediterranean destinations are being offered in November compared to October 2025 in the German market, according to research presented by the German travel platform HolidayCheck.
Prices are showing a significant drop even before Black Friday, suggesting that tour operators are starting the season earlier this year.
Greek destinations are not exempt from this trend, with packages to Corfu showing one of the largest price reductions in Greece and among the competition.
Corfu is 360 euros cheaper
In particular, as revealed by HolidayCheck’s research into the prices of holiday packages offered by more than 60 tour operators, and involving one-week trips for couples, with flights, accommodation, transfers and meals, Corfu is 13% cheaper in November compared to October, with the average price for a package with the above specifications being 2,390 euros compared to 2,750 euros in October.
Kos is 8% cheaper in November, with the average price being 2,460 euros compared to 2,680 euros in October, while package prices for Zakynthos show a 1% decrease, with the average at 2,560 compared to 2,590 in October.
Overall, in the 28 destinations studied, package holidays for couples for the summer season of 2026 are on average 4% cheaper in November 2025 compared to a month earlier.
16 of them are cheaper – some of them up to 20% – in November 2025 compared to October 2025. The largest decreases are noted in Formentera (-20%), Sharm el-Sheikh (-22%), Djerba (-18%) and Corfu (-13%).
The cheapest destination in November 2025 pre-bookings for trips in the summer of 2026 is currently Djerba in Tunisia (1,810 euros), while the most expensive is the Turkish coast (3,090 euros), which show a price decrease of 6% from October levels.
