Cyprus and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) are a step closer to signing an MoU on consultations aiming to further enhance their relations, Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Christodoulides has said, CNA reports.
Chistodoulides met with the GCC Secretary-General Nayef Falah M. Al-Hajraf in Nicosia, in their third meeting this year.
In statements after the meeting, Christodoulides said that Al Hajraf visit “reflects our joint political will and commitment — evident also by Cyprus’ extensive diplomatic network in the Gulf region — of Cyprus and the GCC to further enhance our strong ties and relations in concrete ways, for the benefit of the peoples, of our countries, and of our region as a whole.”
