The volume of private building activity rose 25.1 pct in June this year, for an increase of 24 pct in the six-month period from January to June, compared with the same period in 2016, Hellenic Statistical Authority said on Tuesday.
The statistics service, in a report, announced that building permits issued in June totaled 1,174, up 9.5 pct compared with June 2016, while volume of building activity rose 25.1 pct in the months.
In the first half, private building activity increased 14.1 pct in permits and 24 pct in volume compared with the corresponding period last year.
