Forestland registration has been completed for 57% of Greek territory, Environment and Energy Minister George Stathakis said on Monday, speaking on Crete, according to ANA.
During comments to the press at an event of the Geotechnical Chamber of Greece on “Forestland maps, a window into the future,” Stathakis announced that the entries have been confirmed, and expected the forest registration – part of a greater effort to register both private and public properties under a cadastre – will be 80% to 90% complete by the end of 2019.
