Having a very faithful audience visiting the area year after year, the Ionian Region has been steadily recording positive figures in tourism, firmly consolidating its position and fame as a family destination. The ever-growing numbers in international arrivals as well as the upgrading of the hotel sector, eloquently reflect the area’s dynamics and growth potential.
The holiday home market in the area has continued unabated its upward course recently. Established destinations such as Corfu and Zante continue to produce solid yields thus attracting investors’ interest, while Lefkada and Kefalonia have emerged over the last few year as alternative options, having grown both in terms of stock and quality.
