The number of homeowners seeking protection of their primary residence or a favorable debt settlement for their mortgage, consumer and business loans is steadily rising, the Private Debt Management secretariat said in a report on Monday, according to ANA.
The secretariat said that a total of 57,956 users have entered the electronic platform, 38,563 users have started procedures for applying, a total of 1,316 applications have been forwarded to banks, banks offered 367 debt settlement proposals (112 debt settlement proposals have been accepted).
