A new government plan offering protection to primary residences will be based on four axes, Finance Minister Christos Staikouras said on Thursday, according to ANA.
Speaking to OPEN television, the Greek minister announced these axes will be: a single protection scheme instead of the eight that exist at present, a second chance for citizens and enterprises hit by the crisis in the previous decade, exposing strategic defaulters and offering support to vulnerable households. Staikouras said this measure will be completed by the end of April, or later, “when we are ready” and pledged that more details will be given in the future.
