Notaries of Athens, Piraeus, the Aegean, and the Dodecanese Islands will abstain from their duties for 20 days (May 30 through June 20), they announced on Tuesday following a general assembly meeting, ANA reports.
They noted that they oppose the Land Registry’s latest decision to mandate the submission of transferable deeds and contracts by electronic means only as of May 30, instead of providing a choice for the client.
