The Israel Ministry of Tourism has recently launched the Israel Virtual Tourist Office, offering new and easily accessible channels to receive information about anything and everything a tourist might want to know in advance of, or even during, their trip to Israel.
The office offers visitors a trove of information which they can access via email, Facebook and WhatsApp.
Visitors to Israel can use the service to find out everything they need to know, from accommodation and transportation to events and festivals, prior to their trip and during their stay.
With cities like Tel Aviv offering free WI-FI spots across the city and the inclusion of WhatsApp (accessed on 972-50-6214249) visitors will be able to easily digest information on the move.
The service currently supports English with plans to add French, Spanish and Russian languages, as well as new digital channels such as chat, video chat and a self-service website.
This extensive variety of channels will help visitors plan their holiday in Israel in a quick and convenient way.
