Greek Digital Policy Minister visits Cairo’s technological park “Smart Village”

Greek Digital Policy Minister Nikos Pappas and his Cyprus counterpart Marios Dimitriadis visited Cairo’s technological park “Smart Village” on Wednesday as the three countries will sign a memorandum of cooperation on this field.

More than 20,000 businessmen operate in the park where schools and hospitals also operate and even a whole city is being rapidly developed.

Pappas and Dimitriadis had contacts with new scientists that work on innovations in the field of technology.

The secretary general of Information and Communication Lefteris Kretsos, who accompanied the minister, presented the Greek programme of digital technology and referred to the Patras technological park as well as all the new programmes that are being developed all over the country with the aim of promoting sustainable development.
