The next Facebook or Google could well be created in countries in economic crisis, such as Greece, Steve Wozniak, the famous co-founder of Apple told Athens-Macedonian News Agency in an interview on Tuesday.
“Intelligent people are everywhere and the tools for software development are also available everywhere, so of course the next company to create something in the communication sector, capable of conquering the world if it’s good, could be founded in countries such as Greece,” Wozniak noted.
In his interview, Wozniak added he was not afraid of the rapid progress in artificial intelligence, in contrast with fears he had expressed in the recent past, aligning with the positions of the late Stephen Hawking and Elon Musk, the founder of Tesla and SpaceX.
