Greece is among the countries where online purchases through mobile devices are increasing, with 25 pct of online sales made through mobile phones or tablets, according to the data collected in a Paypal and Ipos survey on international online shopping trends, ANA reports.
The leaders for online shopping via mobile are consumers in China and India, where 53 pct and 48 pct of online purchases were made this way, and the United States (45 pct). Worldwide, purchases through mobile devices account for 32 pct of the total volume of payments but most consumers continue to prefer online purchases through their PC or laptop, especially in eastern parts of Europe (65 pct in Russia, 73 pct in Greece, 76 pct in the Czech Republic).
