The Greek government started registering all e-platforms run by state services and agencies for eventual inclusion in the government cloud (G-Cloud), Digital Governance Minister Kyriakos Pierrakakis announced on Monday, according to ANA.
The first-ever registration is expected to be concluded in six months before they all migrate to the central infrastructure of the G-Cloud, which is managed by the General Secretariat for Public Administration Information Systems. This will help streamline processes and reduce bureaucracy for state and citizens, the minister said, “directing cost savings and human resources to other services.”
