The pandemic played a decisive role in speeding up the growth and development of digital applications, Digital Governance Minister Kyriakos Pierrakakis said on Friday, to serve citizens’ needs and contribute to Greece’s digital transformation, ANA reports.
Addressing an Economist teleconference on artificial intelligence – “AI At the dawn of 2021:Thinking outside the box” – he said that in times of great pressure, digital solutions have been proven necessary in managing crises. Digital services become the main lever of economic growth, and the role of digital technologies will increase even further, he underlined.
