The Greek government’s public services online platform gov.gr is completing three years in operation, a fact that will be marked at a special event organized by the Digital Governance Ministry on Tuesday, February 14, ANA reports.
Pierrakakis stressed that “progress is reflected both in the daily life of all citizens and in the numbers. The tripling of digital services -from 501 to over 1,500- has generated almost a hundredfold increase in digital transactions within the Greek state: an exponential increase from 8.8 million digital transactions in 2018, to 772 million in 2022.
“We want all private and business interactions with the state to be carried out online by the end of the next four years,” Pierrakakis said.
