The Minister of Tourism, Olga Kefalogianni, visited the Mobile World Congress 2025, the leading global technology conference held annually in Barcelona.
Greece participated with a specialized booth and the innovative mAiGreece application was officially presented, which is an initiative of the Ministry of Tourism, and has been designed and implemented in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Governance.
“With mAiGreece and the creation of new digital tools, we are leveraging artificial intelligence and digital technology to upgrade the traveler experience, enhance the tourism offering and position Greece at the forefront of innovation in tourism,” the Minister said, noting that this initiative is part of the government’s broader strategic plan for the digital transformation of tourism.

In the context of MWC 2025, Ms. Kefalogianni had the opportunity to talk to top executives of the technology industry and startups and to learn about the latest developments in Artificial Intelligence. Finally, she participated in pioneering technological actions, exploring the possibilities that are opening up for Greek tourism through innovation.
