ESM chief: “Greece will need less than €86bn from the third bailout”

The head of the European Support Mechanism (ESM) Klaus Regling talked about progress being achieved in the bailout program review, in an interview for Neue Zuercher Zeiting.

In his interview, Mr. Regling claimed that it is possible to complete the process by the 1st of May, however it is still early for one to predict the final outcome.

The ESM chief calculated that Greece will need far less than the 86 billion euros provided in the third bailout program. At the same time he underlined that the reform program and refugee crisis must not be confused.
