US Treasury Secretary Jack Lew stressed the need for Greece and its creditors (EU and IMF) to work constructively together in order to complete the first program review during his phone contact with Greek PM Alexis Tsipras. Lew’s office issued a press release pointing out that the two men agreed this was necessary to achieve a solution that would aid in establishing a viable course forward.
The American Secretary called on all sides to demonstrate flexibility to successfully complete the review.
