European Commissioner for Economic and Financial Affairs, Taxation and Customs, Pierre Moscovici expressed hope that a deal would be reached on Greece during Tuesday’s Eurogroup meeting.
During a press conference, Moscovici noted that Greece had made a crucial step in completing the first stage of the stability program.
The European Commissioner, who was commenting in relation to Sunday’s vote in Greek Parliament, further told journalists that he ‘hopes and wishes’ for an agreement being reached at Tuesday’s critical Eurogroup meeting in Brussels.
