Eurobank agrees to sell €170 million non performing loans in Romania

Eurobank announced that it will dispose €170 mn of unsecured consumer NPLs in Romania to ProsperoCapital.

The transaction is expected to have been concluded by August 1, 2016. The sale will take place at zero loss for Eurobank, while it also reduces the bank΄s NPL ratio and RWAs. 

The agreement also stipulates that if the buyer achieves certain recovery rates on the specific portfolio, Eurobank will receive part of the gains.
