Building activity decreased by 11.5% in Greece during March

Greece’s statistical authority ELSTAT announced that building activity (measured by the number of new building permits issued) decreased by 11.5% y-o-y in March, while the corresponding volume declined by 32.4% y-o-y.

Βuilding activity retreated by 5.8% y-o-y over the trailing 12 months, whereas the corresponding volume increased by 22.4% y-o-y over the same period.
