As of October thousands of MPs, judicial officers, elected officials in local government, doctors, police officers, journalists and everyone else who had a duty to declare the origin of their assets, will be doing so electronically.
This year’s asset declaration must be carried out between October and December, via the new electronic platform at www.pothen.gr. Ministry of Finance officials consider this platform to be a ‘major rehearsal’ for the electronic property register, which is expected to come into effect in 2017.
