Greek government considers readjusting the EKAS pension benefit

The recent reductions in the EKAS pension benefit in Greece, which is gradually being phased out, caused major reactions and frustration among pensioners.

According to a report in the Ethnos newspaper, the government is considering readjusting the benefit by reducing the sums paid out and increasing the number of pensioners who qualify for it.
