ELSTAT: Greek GDP grew 0.3 pct in second quarter of 2016

Greece’s economy grew by 0.3 percent in the second quarter of 2016 compared to the first quarter of this year, the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) announced on Friday.

It also said the GDP contracted 0.7 percent compared with the same period of 2015. In terms of volume, the economy contracted by 0.1 percent in the second quarter, year-on-year.
