Greece’s exports down by 8% in the first half of 2016

Greece’s exports fell by 8% in the first half of 2016 – the third largest drop in the 28-member European Union, according to data published by Eurostat.

The value of exports in the January-June period came to EUR 12bn, of which EUR 7.1bn was to fellow EU members and the other EUR 4.9bn to third countries.
