EuroWorking Group to approve €2.8 billion sub-tranche to Greece

The EuroWorking Group meeting on Monday is expected to approve the disbursement of the last 2.8-billion-euro sub-tranche of bailout loans linked to the first review of the Greek programme, Eurozone sources said.

Representatives of Eurozone country finance ministries will meet on Monday to examine Greek figures for the payment of state arrears to the private sector in September and will decide whether to give their approval for the disbursement of 1.7 billion euros by the European Stability Mechanism (ESM) board of directors meeting on Tuesday, in addition to the 1.1 billion euros already approved by the Eurogroup meeting on October 9.
