Tourism is a national issue but it must go along with the country’s development, New Democracy’s head of tourism sector Manos Konsolas said.
Konsolas opposed the over-taxation on the tourism sector and explained that the recent tourism policy hindered development and economic welfare.
“Unfortunately, we have not seen lately any bold reforms to help tourism get on growth track. We must all understand that tourism must be protected from tax raids and the additional burdens that the SYRIZA-ANEL government has imposed. Growth and tourism must meet again” he underlined.
