Space Hellas won an international tender for the supply, installation and delivery of an AFTN/CIDIN/AMHS system of aeronautic message broadcast system to the Greek Civil Aviation Authority.
The 114,000 euros contract (excluding VAT) will be implemented in 16 months. The new HACAS system will become the new international communications center of Athens, the hub of a Global Network of Stable Aeronautic Telecommunications. Space Hellas will replace an existing system with a new one by Frequentis, adopting the latest international standards ICAO and SES (Single European Sky). Space Hellas will also supply and install all necessary accompanying IT and telecoms equipment and all necessary systems for the protection of data.
