Terna Energy: Sales up 9.7% during January-September 2016

Terna Energy reported a 9.7 pct increase in its consolidated sales in the January-September period to 148.3 million euros, from 135.2 million in the same period last year. Revenue from electricity production amounted to 104.7 million euros, up 2.1 pct from 2015, while revenue from the sale of electricity power was 24.6 million euros, up 20.6 pct over the same period.

Sales of the construction sector to third parties totaled 18.6 million euros in the nine-month period, up 51.2 pct from last year. EBITDA was 78.9 million euros in the January-September period, up 4.9 pct, while operating earnings pre-tax was 22.1 million euros, down 12.3 pct.

Net earnings after minorities amounted to 13.9 million euros in the nine-month period, down 12 pct from 2015 hit mostly by current fluctuations.

Terna Energy is operating a network with a power of 738 MW, of which 468 MW in Greece, 138 MW in the US, 102 MW in Poland and 30 MW in Bulgaria. The group is currently working on projects with a total power of 245 MW in Europe and the United States with the aim to reach 1,000 MW in the next few years.
