Insurance premium production grew 3.7 pct in the January-November 2016 period, compared with the same period in 2015, Hellenic Association of Insurance Companies said in a report released on Wednesday.
Premium production in the life insurance business grew for the fifth successive month in November, while liability insurance production grew 23.7 pct (up for the ninth month in 2016).
Premium production in the insurance sector grew after suffering big losses after the imposition of capital controls in the country in 2015.
