The most important benefit from the conclusion of the second programme review as soon as possible is the increase of credibility on the economic policy and Greece, the Coordinator of the Parliamentary Budget Office professor Panagiotis Liargovas said in an exclusive interview with the Athens-Macedonian News Agency (ANA).
He stated that the participation of the country in the ECB quantitative easing programme will mean cheaper and easier financing of the economy that will lead to a gradual abolition of capital controls and Greece’s return to the markets.
Regarding the delays in the negotiations, Liargovas sent a message to the institutions that the big sacrifices of the Greek people cannot be ignored with the pretext of figures.
However, he admitted that the conclusion of the second programme review will offer a breather, but it will not mean the end of the difficult road.
