Alpha Trust-Andromeda, a closed-end investment fund, reported after tax profits of 703,000 euros in 2016, after losses of 1.054 million euros in the previous year.
Gross revenue totaled 1.20 million euros in 2016, while the company’s return was 8.51 pct, compared with a performance of -5.05 pct of the Large Cap and a -7.69 pct of the Mid Cap in the Athens Stock Exchange during the year.
Assets totaled 8.97 million euros. The company’s portfolio was invested in Greece (85.03 pct in shares, 8.36 pct in bonds and 6.61 pct in reserves).
The company’s net value share price was 21.48 euros, while its share price was 14 euros at the end of 2016, trading at a discount of 34.82 pct. On March 2, 2017, its share net value was 22.80 euros, trading at a discount of 37.59 pct.
The top equity participations were at Thrace Plastics, Quest Holdings, OPAP, Mytilineos and Sarantis.
